The theme for the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity (2013) is “What does God require of us?” (cf. Micah 6:6-8).
It invites us to reflect on and respond to our obligations to act justly in the world. As Christians we make the journey with God together and pray especially that on our ecumenical pilgrimage we may be witnesses to the light of Christ by acting with justice, love and compassion in all we do.
During this Week of Prayer, Christians will explore together what it means to do justice, to love kindness and to walk humbly with God.
