A pilgrimage to the Holy Land will take place on 4 – 12 September 2015 under the leadership of Sr Consilio Rock, Fr Gerry MacCormack and Fr Dwayne Gavin.
The 8 day itinerary begins in Jerusalem, which will be the base for 5 nights. During that time, the pilgrims will visit all the holy sites including the Via Dolorosa, the Holy Sepulcre, Mount Zion and Yad Vashem. The pilgrims will then make their way to Bethlehem and Qumran, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered. The itinerary takes in Emmaus, Tiberias, Nazareth, Cana, Mount of Beatitudes, Mount Tabor, Capernaum and the Sea of Galilee.
