It is now the law that Garda vetting must be completed before a person can commence a new role for working with children.
In order to speed up the process, the Diocese of Meath has commenced “e-vetting”, which means that the Garda vetting application will now take place online.
Primary schools and parishes should download the following form –

Please make sure to include your date of birth and your email addresss.
Once this form is completed, it should be returned by post to the Vetting Office at Bishop’s House, Mullingar.
At that point, Linda Duncan will send an email to the applicant, together with the online link to begin the e-vetting process.
