Prayers are asked for the peaceful repose of the soul of Fr Richard Lubaale, a member of the Order of St Camillus who was killed in a car accident near Kampala on Sunday 5 November 2017.
Fr Lubaale, aged 39, was a Ugandan member of the Irish province, and the first Ugandan solemnly professed Camillian. He was ordained a deacon by Bishop Michael Smith in Killucan in 2011.
The young priest is described a good and intelligent man who served the Church with enthusiasm and dedication. He is survived by his mother and brothers and sisters and mourned by his Camillian confreres.
