Each parish has a full range of Masses on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
As the schedule indicates, priority is given to encourage parishioners to attend the Sacrament of Reconciliation before celebrating the Feast of the Lord’s Nativity.
Many churches will also host the traditional carol service in the locality.
Bishop Smith will celebrate Mass at the Cathedral of Christ the King, Mullingar on Christmas Eve at 10pm and in St Mary’s Church, Navan on Christmas Day at 11am. He will celebrate Mass for the Fourth Sunday of Advent in St Joseph’s Hospital in Trim.
