Bishop-Elect Nulty addresses Meath diocesan clergy retreat

During the course of the annual clergy retreat, Bishop-Elect Denis Nulty celebrated Mass for his brother priests in the Diocese of Meath.

The Mass was celebrated in the parish church in Killenard, which is located in the Diocese of Kildare and Leighlin.

On 12 June 2013, the Bishop-Elect celebrates the Silver Jubilee of his ordination to the priesthood.

During the annual retreat for Meath clergy, he spoke of the graces he has experienced since his “yes” to the Nuncio which he describes as an extension of his “yes” on Ordination Day in Slane in 1988. He shared the words of his episcopal motto, the similarities in themes of diocesan work, names and support.  He describes the Diocese of Meath as a wonderful home for the past 25 years and asks that we continue to accompany him with our prayers as he lives his “yes” to God.
