Pilgrims from the Diocese of Meath took part in the Apostolate of Eucharistic Adoration pilgrimage to Knock on Saturday 20 April 2013.

The Mass was celebrated by Archbishop Charles Brown who, at the end of the ceremony, presented a Message from Pope Francis, imparting his Apostolic Blessing.

A significant number of priests, religious and lay people from the Diocese of Meath were present, including members of the Meath Diocesan Choir.

Among them were the Confirmation and First Holy Communion children from Beauparc and Kentstown who have been doing monthly adoration in their schools.  These children led the Adoration procession in the Basilica.

As the local coordinator John Howard explains, there are already plans underway for parishes to take part in a worldwide moment of Eucharistic Adoration on 2 June next, scheduled as part of the Year of Faith.
