Tullamore Junior Parish Pastoral Council will host the fifth national conference on Saturday 12 April 2014. The theme of this year’s event is “You will be my witnesses”. Click here for the registration details and promotional video.
The Junior Parish Pastoral Council is a youth group whose main aim is to be the voice of the youth within its parish and to involve young people in Church life. The members work within the parish, organising prayer services and decorating the church at Christmas. They also work in the wider community as they strive to become active citizens within the community.
It is comprised of about 15-20 secondary school students who work on a purely voluntary basis. The youngest members are just starting secondary school and the eldest members are currently TY students.
